Patient in Focus processes personal information about you when you contact us by email, letter or phone. We also process personal information about you if you receive a message from a board member.

If you have a position in the Patient in Focus association or are employed by us, we process your personal information electronically. We process personal information to applicants for positions or employees in order to be able to manage your employment relationship, or to be able to establish an employment relationship.

For the processing of your personal data upon application or employment in Patient in Focus, the Personal Data Ordinance §6 para. 1 pkt. 2 and §7 para. 3.

In connection with the Personal Data Ordinance §28, we must inform you that we process personal data electronically, which is necessary to be able to process your inquiry, your affiliation or the cooperation with you. This means that we have to process your personal data.

The purpose of the treatment is to be able to take care of your interests in accordance with the organization's articles of association and purpose, to be able to communicate with you in our collaboration and otherwise be able to carry out the administration that is necessary and usual in Patient in Focus´ work.

In addition, Patient in Focus has chosen to use your consent as a basis for the processing of your personal data. This happens when you choose to use the website, want to do volunteer work, participate in projects or establish a membership.

Patient in Focus does not pass on any information about you to others without your permission, unless we are obliged to do so in accordance with Danish law.

Personal information about you will be deleted when we no longer have a purpose for processing it. You can withdraw your consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the treatment, which is based on the consent before the withdrawal. Patient in Focus deletes your consent after the end of the project period or after max. 5 years.

If you do not want Patient in Focus to process personal information about you that is necessary for us to manage your affiliation with the organization, collaborate on projects or communicate with us. This may mean that you cannot maintain your affiliation, and our cooperative relationship must end.

You have the opportunity to lodge a complaint with us on e-mail or Datatilsynet, if you find that Patient in Focus´ is processing your information incorrectly.

Cookie and privacy policy


When you visit our website, information about you is collected, which is used to customize and improve our content and to increase the value of the ads that are displayed. If you do not want information to be collected, you should delete your cookies and refrain from further use of the website. Below we have elaborated on what information is collected, their purpose and which third parties have access to it.

Personal information is all kinds of information that to some extent can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a number of such information. This is done, for example, by regular access to content, if you sign up for our newsletter, participate in competitions or surveys, register as a user, member or subscriber, otherwise use services or make purchases via the website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location, and which pages you click on (interests). To the extent that you yourself give explicit consent to this and enter the information yourself, the following is also processed: name, telephone number, e-mail, address and payment information. This will typically be in connection with the creation of a login or upon purchase.

Patient in Focus maintains consent on a GDPR secure drive to which only employees of Patient in Focus have access. Patient in Focus deletes your consent after the end of the project period or after a maximum periode of 5 years.

Data is stored at Patient in Focus' internal data archive. Texts, quotes and articles are published on Patient in Focus' website, social media and marketing materials.

The collected data will be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer necessary for Patient in Focus for the purpose for which it was collected. All projects are indicated CONFIDENTIAL and not shared.

If we offer you fees, coverage costs or similar. Patient in Focus must use your social security number and bank details to pay you.

This is Danish law and applies to everyone. Patient in Focus must store your data on a GDPR secure drive in OneDrive, DanLøn, The Danish Tax Agency and other accounting systems and delete it in accordance with the law.

As the full data controller, Patient in Focus is fully obliged to comply with all applicable laws and regulations on personal data protection, such as the Personal Data Ordinance and other applicable laws that regulated privacy.

Patient in Focus establishes security measures to ensure the protection of the data subject's data, including the protection of the data subject's personal data in connection with data to countries within the EU.
