Patient in Focus hosts several online “Ask-a-Patient” events where healthcare companies can ask patients critically important questions about patient engagement, clinical trial participation, reimbursement and similar topics.
The event
Ask-a-Patient events will focus on different topics. These events give healthcare companies the opportunity to gain valuable insights into a patient’s life through a LIVE Q&A.
You can submit your questions live at the event or email them to events@patientinfocus.org in advance.
We will be organising these events frequently, so sign up to the mailing list to be the first to hear about the next event. To register, ask questions for the April event or submit topic suggestions, please send an email to events@patientinfocus.org with the subject “Join AAP”.
Why Are We Doing This Event?
We understand that getting access to patient perspective and knowledge can be difficult and expensive. That’s why we’ve created the Ask-a-Patient initiative, so you can talk to real patients, and get the answers to your questions.
Through the Ask-a-Patient events, we allow you to talk to patients on a regular basis in a LIVE Q&A format. To make it even more convenient, we’re hosting the event online through Microsoft Teams.
89%
Most patients have no idea why professionals think it is difficult to connect with and involve patients. In fact, 89% tell us they have never been approached but that they would be happy to participate if only they were asked.
Patient in Focus is acting like the liaison to ensure patients are offered the opportunity to get actively involved and thereby gain respect, self-respect and happiness by using their knowledge for something good. We also connect professionals with 30.000 patients in more than 100 countries with more than 130 diagnoses so they can get to the root of what needs to improve. Together we make a difference.
The Patient in Focus Perspective
The Ask-a-Patient events came about because many professionals find it impossible to find the right patients at the right time and therefore often jumped over the patient engagement phase. We want to change that by making patients available for free and breaking down the barrier of patient access. Now all you have to do is attend the FREE online Ask-a-Patient events.

We want to encourage all pharma employees to contribute their ideas on how they can improve and make a positive difference with patient engagement in their daily work. If you have any questions or need advice, feel free to contact us at info@patientinfocus.org or on LinkedIn.
